Why did Vito like Michael so much?
Michael was his only really bright son with the opportunity to go into a viable career. Sonny was a thug, Fredo was an idiot and Connie was just a girl.Connie is Vito's only daughter and has been described as his favorite child, next to Michael.Vito was a better godfather. He made his godson Johnny Fontaine a big star in Hollywood. Michael killed the father of his godson, so he comes in at a fairly distant second.

Who did Michael Corleone love more : Michael loved Kay, respected her and shared his dreams with her…and she was more important to him than his family. They also had an mind-to-mind relationship–with humour and wit. He liked that. He could talk with her.

Would Vito be proud of Michael

Vito would have been proud of Michael as a Don. Michael was smart. He was perceptive, decisive, ruthless, and knew how to lead men. Michael was a good earner, becoming the richest man in the world by Godfather III.

Was Vito proud of Michael : While he loved all of them, he was most proud of Michael, an intelligent college graduate who's future the Don had "special plans" for.

She twice had to live with the harsher side of her husband's life, when he was shot by an Irish gang in 1934, and by Virgil Sollozzo's men in 1945. Despite this, the two of them maintained a loving relationship in 40 years of marriage, and Vito never sought a mistress or ever found the need to strike his wife.

Unfortunately for him, he lacked Vito's warmth and talent for forming a rapport with others (which is why Vito was beloved and Michael was not). Vito was the rare leader who inspired fear, respect, and love in those around him. Michael could command fear and respect but he was not a beloved figure.

Would Vito approve of Michael

Unlike his two older brothers, Michael wants nothing to do with the Corleone "family business", wanting instead to lead a more Americanized life. Vito does not want Michael to join the Corleone criminal empire either, hoping that his favorite son would go into politics.Vito oversees a business founded on gambling, bootlegging, prostitution, and union corruption, but he is known as a kind, generous man who lives by a strict moral code of loyalty to friends and, above all, family.Michael certainly did love Kay Adams. He would have married her immediately if he wasn't forced to go into hiding in Sicily because of the Sollozzo / Mckluskey affair.

In reference to Fredo Corleone being the weaker and less intelligent of his brothers, the term "Fredo" has come to refer to a weak member of a group, especially one of a number of siblings in a family, regardless of ethnicity.

Who did Vito Corleone fear : Luca Brasi

Luca Brasi is Don Vito Corleone's personal enforcer and the only man Vito himself fears. While slow-witted and brutish, Brasi is fiercely loyal with a reputation as a savage and remorseless killer.

Is Vito Corleone a psychopath : He's Generous And Kind

By helping those he felt were oppressed, Vito differentiated himself from other mob bosses. It was clear that he wasn't the sadistic psychopath type of criminal, like Virgil "The Turk" Sollozzo. He was a criminal because this was the life he was born into.

Who was the weakest Corleone

The Godfather

Fredo was seen as the weakest and least intelligent of the Corleone men, and thus his father gave him only its unimportant businesses to run. When his father was shot by thugs working for drug kingpin Virgil Sollozzo, Fredo panicked and was unable to return fire, dropping his gun in the process.

When Michael realized that Fredo had given up his position to Hyman Roth, he kissed Fredo in anger and exposed that he knew Fredo betrayed him. In the first film, Michael wasn't completely emotionless. But in Part II, Michael's emotions carry a heavier intensity.Michael wasn't smarter than Tom. He simply thought differently. Tom Hagen was brilliant. That's why he, out of all of Vito's sons, was sent to law school.

Who was the smartest Godfather : Michael Corleone was not just Tom Hagen's intellectual equal. Michael was also much more strategically intelligent. And Michael was much more worldly than Tom was.
