10 Less Chaotic Matches
There's a reason why most PvP games stick to teams of 5v5. With fewer players on the field, there are clearly going to be fewer targets to focus on. While 5v5 matches in Overwatch 2 still retain that element of bedlam, it's a much more enjoyable experience with one less tank to avoid.5v5 was partially an attempt to solve this, as since less players wanted to play tank, the game would revolve around less tank players. And this does seem like sound logic, and at first the queue times accurately reflected this sentiment.In Overwatch 2, each team may have a maximum of ten (10) players, broken down into five (5) starting players on the Roster, and five (5) substitutes on the Bench.

The main reason why I think 6v6 is/was better is because the games were less quick, more controlled and didn't depend on 1 tank. Since it's 5v5 games feel more one sided, less tactical and more arcade-like.

There is no going back to 6v6 – barring some “OW classic” release, which I am confident will come at some point – of course, the “classic” there will only be the boilerplate stuff, all the cash shop and egregious monetization will be ported from OW2.58

Is Overwatch 2 actually better : Overwatch 2 delivers high-octane multiplayer gameplay and a wholly improved version of the much-loved hero shooter. Now that the dust has settled, it's becoming clear that despite a number of teething issues, the game manages to do what many sequels struggle to; build upon a successful game, and make it even better.
