What is the premise of The Last of Us?
The Last of Us is a genre-defining experience that blends survival and action elements to tell a character-driven tale about a modern plague decimating mankind. Nature encroaches upon civilization, forcing remaining survivors to kill for food, weapons and whatever they can find.Set in the post-apocalyptic United States, the game tells the story of survivors Joel and Ellie as they work together to survive their westward journey across what remains of the country to find a possible cure for the modern fungal plague that has nearly decimated the entire human race.Plot. In 2013, an outbreak of a mutant Cordyceps fungus ravages the United States, transforming its human hosts into aggressive creatures. In the suburbs of Austin, Texas, Joel (Troy Baker) flees the chaos with his brother, Tommy (Jeffrey Pierce), and daughter, Sarah (Hana Hayes).

What are the three rules of The Last of Us : They won't think it through they'll just shoot. You rule three you do what I say when I say it we clear it's repeated what you say goes okay.

Why is Ellie immune

The finale implies Ellie's immunity is linked to Anna's bite on her inner thigh, corroborating a fan theory that Ellie's built-in protection against the cordyceps outbreak was the result of her mother somehow getting bitten before childbirth.

Do you see zombies in The Last of Us : The first zombies we see in “The Last of Us” are runners. These are fresh and may still look human compared to ones that have been infected longer. While easy to kill, there's one factor that makes them dangerous: you never expect them. They're novel.

Warning: There are spoilers ahead for season one, episode three of "The Last of Us." Joel says the cordyceps outbreak likely started by mutating and tainting foods with flour or sugar. Joel, Sarah, and Tommy likely weren't infected on episode one because they avoided eating pancakes, biscuits, and cake.

Luckily, you don't actually have to kill the dogs you encounter. This is a stealth game, after all, so you can sneak by them if you know what you're doing.

Do you fight in The Last of Us

Yes you can choose between stealth or combat. But on higher difficulty's i recommend doing more stealth. Some enemies can insta kill you. Normal difficulty is good to start at, mind you i never played the game before.Ellie Almost Certainly Cannot Infect Others In The Last Of Us. While the end result of what would occur from a group of people eating Ellie – as was threatened in The Last of Us episode 8 – is unclear, there are some hints from The Last of Us Part II surrounding Ellie's immunity and how it works.Sadly, Ellie's immunity isn't the only thing that isn't a cure. Throughout The Last of Us and The Last of Us Part II, a cure for the Cordyceps brain infection is never found, with no new possibilities popping up in the sequel.

TL;DR Perhaps debates would not arise if game studios hired medical, scientific, and engineering professionals to examine games for obvious errors. The goal of the infection is to proliferate, and as a poster mentioned, Cordyceps is species-specific, so thus there is no reason for infected to attack non-human species.

Can you get through The Last of Us without killing anyone : You can sneak past most encounters, but there is going to 100% guaranteed be scripted events where you have to kill. One known example is from a game-play demo where you hang upside down and cover Ellie. Also stealth won't be easy, Joel is a normal person not a master of the shadows.

Is Ellie the only one immune : The Last of Us has finally revealed a scientific explanation behind Ellie's immunity, and why she was the only one capable of surviving a Cordyceps bite. We were all dying to see The Last of Us Episode 9 on HBO.

Anna also realizes that she was bitten during the fight, before swiftly cutting the umbilical cord connecting her and Ellie. This is the cause of Ellie's Last of Us immunity. Given that the umbilical cord provides babies with oxygen and nutrients, the Cordyceps present in Anna's system is transferred into Ellie.

Ellie is the only known case of Cordyceps immunity, having been infected with a mutated benign strain. Joel has avoided infection, but it's safe to say that he's a “mere mortal”.Infection can be spread through biting a victim. The infection spreads through direct contact with an infected, via a bite, or indirectly via airborne fungal spores released by a corpse.

How did Joel not get sick : It turns out Joel may have narrowly avoided being infected simply because of his food choices on the series' pilot. Early on season one, episode three, Ellie asks Joel how the infection began. "If you have to get bit to be infected than who bit the first person" Ellie asks.
