The next episode titled “Meta Fiction” will be focusing on the fallen angels particularly with Sam (Jared Padalecki) dealing with Gadreel (Tahmoh Penikett), the angel who possessed him.Dean lets the angel Ezekiel possess his brother in order to heal him and promises to keep the possession a secret from Sam. It turns out the angel isn't actually Ezekiel, however, but Gadreel, the former guardian of the Garden of Eden.In a desperate attempt to save his brother from the fatal damage the Trials did to him, Dean Winchester calls upon any angel to heal Sam. The angel Gadreel, disguising himself as the deceased angel Ezekiel, attempts to heal Sam but is ultimately too weak and Sam too damaged for him to do so.
Is Gadreel good or bad : In the distant past, Gadreel was the protector of the Garden of Eden, but failed his duty by allowing Lucifer into the Garden; for this, God imprisoned Gadreel in Heaven. Metatron offers Gadreel a chance to reform by joining him and becoming a hero; Gadreel agrees and joins Metatron.
