Howling Fjord still sucks compared to Borean Tundra for speed. If you want to talk about how slow it FEELS, then Howling Fjord still wins. I do both and then dragonblight and part of Grizzly Hills. I'd rather get the experience from the two starter zones than do all of Grizzly Hills. From Howling Fjord, the small western Isle holds a town: kamaqau, take a turtle boat from there to moa'ki harbor in dragonblight. just have patience as the turtles have no loading screen, and thus have longer wait times. From Crystalsong forest: in the yellow part of the map, follow the road going south.around level 68
The level range for Borean Tundra is 68-72, with the bulk of the quests starting at around level 68. It is possible to go to Borean Tundra and begin questing when you aren't even level 70, so this is a good thing to keep in mind for any alts or lower level characters.
Can you get to Howling Fjord from Borean Tundra : These massive, water-bound turtles ferry riders between Unu'pe in Borean Tundra to Moa'ki Harbor in Dragonblight. From Moa'ki Harbor, players can get a connecting turtle taxi to Kamagua in Howling Fjord if they choose. Remember to grab the flight paths whenever possible—sometimes, taking a turtle is slow-going.

How do I get to Howling Fjord fast
You can fly from either iron forge or stormwind. But if is technically quicker. So far so good head towards the end of the pier. And wait for the boat to arrive.I personally would begin leveling in Northrend at level 68, but if you're having fun and want to complete the quests in the zones you have left, you should stay in Outland.Passive ability allowing the use of flying mounts in Northrend. Requires level 68 and costs 1000g. If you do not have a level 80 main, you will have to wait until level 77. In beta, you originally had to complete quests started by Pilot Vic; An Embarassing Incident then Reconnaissance Flight, without payment.

Can you go to Howling Fjord at 68
Re: Howling fjord or Borean tundra for lvl 68 dk Main problem I found with Fjord was there was a LOT of quests that involved extensive running around. However, if you're going at 68, I highly advise doing both – took my DK to Fjord at 68 and have just finished Tundra at 73.
