How do I send a foreign letter?
International addresses should have the following information:

  1. The addressee (first line)
  2. Delivery address (second line)
  3. Municipality name, state or province, and postal or ZIP Code (third line)

For mail within the Czech Republic, you should include the zip code or post code (směrovací číslo), a five-digit number that goes before the name of the city, town, or village. Below are the steps for writing an international address for most European countries:

  1. Write the recipient's name on the first line.
