It is not possible to transfer a WoW Classic character: to another WoW account or Battle.net account. to Modern WoW or Wrath of the Lich King Classic.Once in the Shop:
- Open the in-game Shop on the character selection screen.
- Select the Free Character Transfer service option and click Buy Now.
- Select the realm you are transferring FROM.
- Select the character you want to move off your realm.
- Tick the Transfer Realm check box.
- Select the realm you want to transfer TO.
Season of Discovery is a new type of Realm you can select to create a new character to participate in a whole different Classic playstyle. While playing in a Season of Discovery realm, you will come across runes. These runes unlock special abilities that you normally cannot access in Classic WoW.

What happens to TBC Classic characters : To maintain healthy populations for Wrath of the Lich King Classic realms, we have retired some Classic realms back during Burning Crusade Classic. If you played on one of these realms, your character has been transferred to another one for free on August 9, 2022.
You start from scratch as if you were a new player to the game. It is not possible to transfer regions.
The Character Clone service has been retired. All clones that were not activated before July 26, 2022 were deleted.
What happens after Season of Discovery ends

The maximum amount of in-game currency that can be transferred to another realm is now 500g for player-characters at levels 10-30, 2,500g at levels 31-50, and 25,000g at level 51 or higher.
